Kiwi Reggae unleashed in Auckland July 06, 2013
Two legendary Kiwi Reggae artists will be combining forces at the Weymouth Cosmopolitan Club in Auckland on July 06 for a night of Sunshine Reggae and musical fun.
With 14 albums behind him and a massive reputation in New Zealand and around the South Pacific, Brother Love, is looking forward to sharing his well loved hits as well as a few covers which are sure to be embraced with his mix of reggae and classic South Pacific beats.
Sharing the bill is the dynamic and very popular reggae band, Sweet and Irie, led by the irrepressible Edward Ru who features in the feature movie on Bob Marley recently filmed in New Zealand.
‘ We intend this night to be the first of a series we will take around the country, ‘ says promoter, Chris Destrieux.
‘ It’s a cold winter. We thought Auckland was ready to be warmed by the brand of sunshine reggae these two popular artists are so well known for, and we wanted to give folks a good night out without breaking the bank….hence the old fashioned entry price of only $20,’ Chris said.
Kiwi Reggae night will bring back the good old fashioned fun of a ‘social’. There will be generous door prizes and a relaxed, fun-filled night is promised.
The night kicks off at 6pm sharp.
